To be used with hot or cold technique. AH Plus® achieves a tight seal due to its self-adhesive properties and dimensional stability. It is biocompatible and exhibits moderate anti-microbial properties and therefore has the potential to significantly reduce the germ load in the canal. It is extremely radio-opaque so it is clearly visible on radiographs. AH Plus is a good sealer choice for use with ProTaper Thermafil® obturators as the setting reaction is not adversely affected by thermoplastic obturation.

Can I also use AH Plus for warm/hot obturation?
Yes. AH Plus remains stable up to 250°C.

Is it possible to remove AH Plus?
Yes. By using a rotary instrument or by using chloroform.

Can I autoclave the mixing tip to make it sterile?
No, this is not possible. However, you could disinfect it by using an alcoholic cleaner. A DisposaShield provides hygenic protection of the syringe body.

Shrinkage behaviour of AH Plus: What kind of effects does it have regarding adhesion to dentine? 
AH Plus shows an extremely low shrinkage (1,76%). Next to that exists, not only retentive connections, but also chemical connections to dentine (6,24 MPa).
 
Benefits: 1. Excellent sealing ability, 2. long setting time: material can easily flow into the tubuli/side canals, 3. flexible matrix: buffers shrinkage also during temperature and mechanical impact.
